Felbry College School of Nursing is located in the heart of Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH. The school was founded in 2007 and has been providing nursing education to qualified students ever since.
The college is for-profit and has an enrollment of 228 undergraduate students. Felbry college nursing has a 100% acceptance rate and is popularly known for Licensed Practical Nurse Training (LPN) and Nursing.

Felbry school of nursing offers 3 programs. They include; Practical nursing program, Associated of applied science, and RN to BSN completion program.

1. Practical Nursing Program
Practical nurses are very important to the healthcare profession. They work with doctors, nurses, and patients. They plan, implement and evaluate nursing care that is given to a client or a patient.
When you enroll for this program, you will learn to help the patient in ways such as;
- Learn about how to take care of him or herself
- Record and report any changes in health
- Administer medications
- Perform wound care
- Prepare for operations and other treatments
If you graduate from this program, you’ll get a diploma and be able serve as a practical nurse in your state.
2. Associated of Applied Science
The FCSON Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Program prepares graduates to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
The Program offers approved courses through distance education and residential programs.
The program track combines both the PN and RN courses. The Program can be done in 24 months (104 weeks), and students who are licensed nurses can do the Program in 12 months (52 weeks).
The track recognizes previous academic success and current licensure by allowing advanced standing in the Program with a maximum of 46 transferrable credits.
Licensed Practical Nurses will start the AAS One + One Nursing track in Semester 4 and finish their coursework for Semester 4, 5, and 6.
This program is recommended for students who work less or work on a full-time basis, be good at computers, have had recent academic experience, and have strong support systems.
3. RN to BSN Completion Program
The Program is designed for registered nurses with an associate degree or diploma who want to earn their bachelor of science degree (BSN).
The Program is offered online through a distance education delivery model. Once you are done, you can get to be eligible for jobs on a BSN-RN level.
The curriculum is designed to enhance and advance the student’s professional nursing career.
One great thing about this program is that it allows flexibility by enabling you to take the Program via distance education. Therefore, it allows you to maintain a work-life balance.
Note that on this program, a student does not require to take an NCLEX licensure exam when completing the Program.
The college also offers an accelerated BSN program for RN students to earn their bachelor’s degree in 16 months (68 weeks).
Admission requirements
Felbry College School of Nursing requires students in all programs to completely fill out the admission documents.
The admission documents include;
- The admission checklist,
- The character reference form and
- The health and physical l requirement form.
The admission checklist application includes a student’s checklist and has check items such as;
- The Driver’s License
- Proof of U.S. residency, i.e., Social Security Card, Passport, Green Card,
- A BCI/FBI background check
- Proof of graduation, i.e., a high School Transcript/Diploma, GED, or an official College transcript
- A registration fee of $12500 (which is non-referenceable)
- A drug screen and much more.
The character reference form, which your selected referee fills, is meant to give the school a better insight into you as an individual.
Your referee is supposed to rank you from “excellent” to “don’t know” on personal traits such as your level of honesty, self-motivation, your emotional stability, among other traits.
The health and physical examination requirements form is meant to give Felbry College School of Nursing your current state of health, which they will be able to use when considering admission into their institution.
The physical examinations must be completed within one year prior to enrollment and signed and stamped by a certified healthcare professional.
You will also need to fulfill the clinical requirements prior to starting any clinical courses. You will need to be compliant with;
- Tdap vaccination
- Hepatitis B vaccination, titer, or declination form
- Varicella vaccination or titer
- Ten-panel drug screen
- Influenza vaccination (annual)
- MMR vaccination or titer
- TB screening (Two-step method, Proof of annual one-step method, QuantiFERON-TB Gold, or Chest Xray)

In addition to the admission requirements for all programs, specific requirements need to be met for each Program.
For example, suppose you want to enroll in the RN to BSN completion program. In that case, you’ll need to have a current and unrestricted RN license as well as an Associate Degree or Diploma in nursing from an approved and accredited institution.
If you want to enroll for the Associate of applied science in nursing, you should also be 18 years or older and get the minimum 60% score for the HESI entrance exam.
Apart from these, to be eligible for the one+one track, you will need;
- To have a current and unrestricted Ohio Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license.
- To be a graduate of a Practical Nursing program that has been approved by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
- To have done NUR 201 Course, i.e., for those graduates who are not Felbry Practical Nursing graduates and those from Felbry who previously completed the Practical Nursing program more than one (1) year before the start date.

Tuition
The total tuition charge (including the lab and integrated assessment fees) is divided across each semester according to the student course load and program track.
Students can be refunded tuition, however, as per the College Catalog terms of tuition refund policy.
The average tuition & fee in Felbry College School of Nursing is $22,400. However, this is subject to change per academic year.

The school offers scholarships and grants to students based on financial needs and academic achievement.
The school grants and scholarships have some requirements that need to be fulfilled before the student can be granted the financial aid. The requirements are;
- The student must be on full-time enrollment, unless otherwise noted
- The scholarship amounts need to be divided evenly between the semesters
- Scholarships require a minimum GPA to be maintained (though not all scholarships)
- The scholarships and grants are available only to U.S citizens and permanent residents.
Felbry college school of nursing has three types of scholarships. These are; The Juliana Tolani scholarship, The academic excellence, and The FCSON scholarship.
The Juliana Tolani scholarship awards students up to $500.
- The academic excellence awards students up to $1000. To qualify for the $1 000, you need a CGPA of 4.0
- To qualify for $500, you need a CGPA of 3.75 to 3.99, while to qualify for $250, you will need a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74
The FCSON scholarship awards four students during the fall semester a maximum of $7,500. The money is deposited directly to the student school account and only pays for tuition, books, and fees.
