It feels like yesterday, but years ago, I was sitting right there in my car waiting to go into the testing center to take the NCLEX.  

I woke up (honestly I couldn’t even sleep the night before) hours before my alarm in anticipation.  It was only about a 30-minute drive, but I drove to the testing center probably a good 2 hours before my actual testing time . . . you know JUST in case something happened.

Prior to the NCLEX, use relaxation techniques to help calm your nerves. Techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, and visualization can help you manage your anxiety levels and reduce stress.

Practicing these techniques before and during the NCLEX could help calm your nerves and improve your focus.

Take practice tests: 

Taking practice tests can help you get used to the format of the NCLEX and reduce anxiety levels. During the exam, try to focus on the present moment and the task at hand. Avoid thinking about past mistakes or worrying about future outcomes. Instead, focus on each question as it comes and do your best to answer it.
